Curbside Recycling
WHAT CAN GO INTO MY CURBSIDE CONTAINER?
ALUMINUM & TINS CANS:
Food and Beverage containers are all accepted in your curbside container. Please be sure that they are empty and rinsed free of any contaminants before placing them into your cart.
CARDBOARD:
Cardboard boxes are accepted in your curbside container. Please break it down and place it into your container. If you have excess cardboard, please stack it neatly in a pile next to your container. Pizza boxes must be free of grease and food before placing it into the container.
CARTONS:
Milk, Juice and Food cartons are accepted in your curbside container. Please rinse them before placing them into the cart.
PAPER:
All Paper, Newspaper, Junk Mail, Magazines and Receipts are accepted in your curbside container. For shredded paper, please place it in a paper bag and label it shredding.

Curbside Pick-Up Guidelines
For curbside recycling, we only accept the following of each type of item:
- Cans – Aluminum, steel and bi-metal cans from food and beverages
- Plastic – Beverage and laundry product bottles marked with a #1 (PET) or #2 (HDPE) on the bottom
- Aseptic Cartons
- Paper – Newspaper, magazines, catalogs, office paper, junk mail and paperboard boxes
- Cardboard – Clean corrugated, without wax coating or foil

- Martin Luther King Jr Day (01/21/19 Mon.) – No Delay in Service
- President’s Day (02/18/19 Mon.) – No Delay in Service
- Memorial Day (05/27/19 Mon.) – All Service Delayed 1 Day for Entire Week
- Independence Day (07/04/19 Thurs.) – Service Delayed 1 Day for Thursday thru Friday
- Labor Day (09/02/19 Mon.) – All Service Delayed 1 Day for Entire Week
- Columbus Day (10/14/19 Mon.) – No Delay in Service
- Veteran’s Day (11/11/19 Mon.) – No Delay in Service
- Thanksgiving Day (11/28/19 Thurs.) – Service Delayed 1 Day for Thursday to Friday
- Day After Thanksgiving (11/29/19 Fri.) – Service Delayed 1 Day for Friday to Saturday
- Christmas Day (12/25/19 Wed.) – Service Delayed 1 Day for Wednesday thru Friday
